Kristi has to be the hardest working "domestic engineer" I know of. As with most moms' she has to wear a
lot of different hats. Besides successfully having put up with me for the last 20 years, she has managed
to rear our three children up to almost adults, and has done that on a shoe string budget for the most part.
Pound for pound, I would put her up against most men, when it comes to doing a full days work. I have
had the pleasure of being able to work a lot with her for the past several years doing construction work.
She has stuck with me through all the ups and downs that we have experienced in the development of our
business. She knows the in's and out's of the business and what it will take to get the job done. When
she is not busy with the kids, church, or taking care of work around our place she likes spending time
with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. |

Natalie is the oldest of our three children. She is currently in her second year of college working toward
her career to become a registered nurse. When she is not in class, at her job, or hanging out with friends,
you can find her studying. We are in hopes of being able to have her work with us keeping some of the office
duties caught up once business gets to moving. |

Kyle is our middle child. He likes one more year of high school before being out in the real world.
He's still not too sure on a career choice. I don't think I've met anyone who enjoys hunting and fishing
as much as he does. Kyle is really anxious to be able to work with us some. Hmm, water & fish. I think
he may be trying to hide the real motivational factor for wanting to work with us. I may be forced to
lock his fishing pole up until the end of the work day; then again I do like fried fish. |

Emily is our youngest. She is about to finish up her freshman year and already has her sights set on the
same thing as her older sister. She wants to become an RN and focus on pediatrics. Not only is she sharp
as a tack, she doesn't mind getting her hands dirty when it comes to work and I'm sure she will be wanting
to help out on some of our jobs. Emily likes to curl up with a good book and spending time with her sister. |

As for me, I think you can see the driving force behind this new business venture. I love my current job of
about 23 years, but need something more to supplement it so I can be able to better provide for family needs,
(Teenagers: college, transportation, etc. etc. need I say more), and do more of the fun things in life that
most of the time stay just out of reach. I usually keep a second job working mostly in construction, and
it was during a time of about five years working with a local marina that I came up with the idea that we
have built our current business on. I have asked myself many times, "what have I got myself (and my family)
into". But everytime, I can only see us struggling to stay right where we are now if we don't find a way to
increase our income, and there are only so many hours in the day to do this. I try to see our business
venture through the eyes of a first time visitor, and hope we haven't gave the impression of a couple that
is, as the saying goes "throwing luck to the wind". We have put in a lot of hard work and like to think on
another saying "good things don't always come easy". A lot has happened since we first set down at the
drawing table early in 2001. The economy is struggling and I don't think anyone really knows when things
will be looking up, but we all will have to try to make the best of it. Apart from all the things I don't
know, I do know who is really in charge of all things and I have confidence in my savior, Jesus Christ,
and that everything will be ok. Somehow through it all we have managed to pay for our equipment as we
built it, and if at all possible, we plan to be here to offer our services. Most of the time I stay quite
busy, but when I get the chance I like doing things with Kristi and the kids. I also enjoy the outdoors,
whether working, taking an occasional trip to the lake, or up in the Oklahoma Hills. Kristi and I are
blessed to have both sets of parents, lots of relatives, and a loving church family. We just wish we could
get around and visit them all more often. |
